Apex Urethane Millwork
All Apex Urethane Millwork products are manufactured in the United States of America (Pennsylvania). All chemicals and paints used in the manufacturing process of all products made by Apex Urethane Millwork are engineered, designed, manufactured, and continually tested and monitored for compliance to environmental and health standards in the United States.
All Apex Urethane Millwork products are manufactured with high-density, water-blown, rigid closed-cell (prevents water penetration and absorption) polyurethane foam and are completely free of HCFCs (hydrochlorofluorocarbons) and CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons), which are both known to be ozone-depleting chemical compounds. The "ozone friendly" polyurethane products manufactured by Apex Urethane Millwork, using patented and proven technology, are inert cellular foams with low permeability (therefore emit no toxic gases into the air), and are made of a high-density polymer comparable to kiln-dried white pine millwork, with a manufactured skin density higher than white pine and lighter in weight.

Potlatch Corporation is a real estate investment trust, or REIT, that owns and manages 1.5 million acres of timberlands located in Arkansas, Idaho and Minnesota and a 17,000-acre hybrid poplar plantation in Oregon. Through a taxable REIT subsidiary we also operate 15 manufacturing facilities that are engaged in the production of commodity wood products and bleached pulp products. The company traces its history to the founding in 1903 of Potlatch Lumber Co.
Potlatch Lumber and Panels "We make a wide range of wood products for industrial and consumer use at our facilities in Arkansas, Idaho, Minnesota, and Michigan.
In Arkansas, we make lumber from Southern yellow pine. Our Idaho mills produce lumber from several species, a full line of cedar products, a variety of fingerjoint edge-glued lumber products, and industrial-grade fir plywood and particleboard.
In the Great Lakes region, our Minnesota and Michigan mills produce precision-cut studs and finger-jointed studs in spruce, pine, and fir (SPFs).
Many of our lumber and panel products can be purchased with chain-of-custody certification under the strict standards of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The FSC certification is a third-party standard audited by either the Rainforest Alliance's Smartwood® program or Scientific Certification Systems (SCS), both leading third-party certifiers."
